Who came top of the third round and who won overall?
Thanks to everyone who came down tonight for Round 3 of our Summer Comp Series! Despite the heat we had a great turnout and some fantastic climbing all round on a lovely set of problems by German comp setter Felix Buchmann, Holly and Tom B.
In the male category first place went to Herve Nuttall with 224 out of a possible 250. Tristan Blackburn took second place on exactly the same score but with fewer flash attempts. Rosie Clark won the female category, with Sophie Hoyle just one point behind in second. The fiercely contested Veterans Category was taken by BB staff member Dan Bennett with Derek Thomas hot on his heels.
This was the last round of the series and we were delighted to see Rosie Clark take the round and the series for the women. Roberto Kroonsare only took 5th in this round but came through with enough points to take the series for the men. The veteran series goes to Dan Bennett.
The big winner of the night(?!) was Erin Nann, who walked away with a month's free climbing pass, just for handing in her score sheet and sticking around until prize giving.
Next up is Slabfest (AKA the Brighton Ultimate Footwork Festival) and then more of the best climbing nights we can offer with our Winter Comp season starting in November.
Full results are available below. See you all for Slabfest on Friday 6th October.
