Yoga is an excellent complementary activity to climbing. It can help improve your flexibility, core strength, and focus - all essential qualities for good climbing technique. We are now hosting yoga courses at Boulder Brighton in our upstairs teaching space so that you can easily incorporate yoga into your regular routine. More details and online booking available below.


Monday Night Yoga

Barbara is a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher and has been practising Iyengar yoga since 2003. She gained her qualification following two years of rigorous teacher training at the Iyengar yoga Institute in Maida Vale, London. Barbara’s teaching is methodical and progressive: students are introduced to postures gradually and progress safely at their own pace.

Iyengar yoga focuses on correct alignment and precision in movement. Poses are held - initially for a few seconds and as the practice progresses for longer - to enable students to align the body correctly and settle in the pose. Iyengar yoga is for Every Body - you don’t need to be able to touch your toes to join!

Each half term, Mondays at 19:30
