As with any sport, climbing can take its toll on our bodies. Luckily, if you're concerned you might be injured or are struggling with aches and pains, there are experts on hand to help you through the discomfort and put you back on the road to recovery. Treatments can apply to a wide range of physical problems incurred through climbing or just everyday life.

We have an on-site space used for physiotherapy at Boulder Brighton, allowing treatments to be delivered in the most climbing-centric way possible.

Will King, BSc MSc MACP

Treatments at Boulder Brighton are currently provided by Will King, who is an experienced sports injury physiotherapist, performance analyst, and also a climber himself. He has a BSc honours degree from Nottingham and an MSc with the prestigious membership of the MACP.

Will says:

“I am a passionate lifelong climber and physiotherapist with over 16 years’ experience in physiotherapy. I give expert injury assessment and movement analysis and where required movement screening to give you a thorough diagnosis and an understanding of the causes of any injury or sports performance issues.

“I use a full range of treatment techniques (including massage, mobilisation, manipulation, exercise therapy, multimodal stretching, static and kinesiotaping, and acupuncture) to get you out of pain, back on the rock/wall and avoid injury recurrence”
