Shoe of the month - just £95 (RRP £120)
A low volume alternative to the Evolv Shaman
Evolv’s Shaman 2 has been one of their most popular shoes of recent years, with high performance coupled with a surprisingly comfortable feel out of the box. The Shakra is a low volume alternative to the Shaman, sharing many of the same features but ideal for smaller, lower volume feet. The high tension heel and large toe patch come across from the Shaman, with two straps rather than three on these smaller shoes. It’s an aggressive shoe but the “love bump” and “knuckle box” features mean your toes can get into a downturned position with the minimum of discomfort.
Overall it’s a fantastic shoe – performs well indoors and out, coming into its own on steeper ground but soft enough to still smear effectively on slabs and vertical climbs.
