Café reopens, meeting indoors within Rule of 6 allowed
From 17th May, we are moving to Step 3 of the government's Roadmap for easing the national lockdown.
Under Step 3 rules, social distancing measures and our face masks policy remain unchanged, but we are able to relax a few other covid measures:
👨👩👦👦 People from different households can now arrange to meet at the centre within the Rule of 6. You should continue to socially distance as much as possible ☕ The café will reopen, for limited seating indoors within the Rule of 6 ➕ We will increase our capacity by a few slots to accommodate more bookings (still keeping well within our allowed max capacity of 9 square metres per person)
The limited amount of formal instructed sessions for U18s that we have been running will continue. The bulk of our instructed groups (e.g. Boulder Academy sessions) are still on hold for the time being.
Help us keep the centre safe and open by following our main Covid rules:
👨👩👧👦 Maintain as much social distance from people not in your household as possible
💦 Wash or sanitise your hands on the way in, during your climb, and on the way out
😷 Wearing a face mask is mandatory, unless you're actively climbing, eating or drinking
We'll continue to monitor our other measures as the easing of measures continues. Thank you for helping us keep the centre safe for everybody 😊
Masks are again compulsory in our reception/café/shop area unless you are eating or drinking
Prepaid Members will no longer need to pre-book their climbs from this date
Changing rooms and showers will reopen, but other covid measures remain in place for now
