Boulder Brighton Inter Schools Competition 2023 Finals Results

That's it. With 19 schools teams entered, almost 200 climbers over 25 qualifying blocs and 36 climbers topping 93 times in the finals the 2023 Inter Schools competition was Boulder Brighton's biggest yet. The headlines are that in the U16 category Cardinal Newman took the trophy while in the 16+ competition Brighton College came first. Full finals results:

Under 16 finals

1st place - Cardinal Newman Catholic School, 9 tops & 12 zones
2nd place - Patcham High School, 9 tops & 11 zones
3rd place - Dorothy Stringer School, 6 tops & 10 zones
4th place - Shoreham Academy, 5 tops & 9 zones
5th place - Blatchington Mill School, 5 tops & 7 zones
6th place - Hurstpierpoint College, 5 tops & 6 zones

16+ finals

1st place - Brighton College, 14 tops & 17 zones
2nd place - Dorothy Stringer School, 12 tops & 12 zones
3rd place - Lancing College, 9 tops & 11 zones
4th place - Hurstpierpoint College, 8 tops & 11 zones, countback to qualifying 3116
5th place - Cardinal Newman Catholic School, 8 tops & 11 zones, countback to qualifying 923
6th place - Christ's Hospital, 4 tops & 6 zones
